Today is a work day. The dodger work gets done and is now complete except for a few needed tweaks. The wonderful news is the flybridge will be much more protected from the weather and apparent wind that always moves forward the faster we go. The new dodger was triggered when a block of ice fell from the mast out of New York in a huge snow storm. Bella Donna likes the tropical weather, winter is hard on her. However, after seeing the clear view looking through the dodger we realize it was needed more than we realized.

We find we need a new port alternator and thermostat on the port hot water heater. No worries, these are not critical because there is plenty of hot water whenever the port engine is run. The port battery will live on a charger when not running. We can put off the repairs. Bella Donna is showing her age; I like to view it as character, but it does keep John busy.

God Bless Bella Donna
