The forecast is for rain every day through Saturday and it is raining now. We take in the lines and leave the dock; it is almost 11 AM. John is all alone  in the flybridge at the helm. He is having to wear a rain slicker due to the continuous rain. With the dodger sides not yet installed, heading into the wind and sea and the persistent rain John is getting very wet. We are motoring so we can go directly to Soper's Hole on the near side of Tortola to check into the BVI. 

We are still receiving the AT&T phone signal which we will not loose until shortly before we anchor in Soper's Hole. We lost the internet signal as soon as we left the dock; however, it has only been working between 10 PM and 6 AM anyway. The Yacht Haven Marina gave us free internet, but it value is like sleeves on a vest if you want to sleep at night. So those who have iPads or iPhones with AT&T data can get internet for most of the passage. 

The checkin goes fine except Deborah's passport is full, there is no more room to stamp it. This is a huge long term problem as she must return to London to either get a new one or have pages added. I suddenly realize my passport only has 1 blank page left. The US will accept you even if your passport is full because they are 100% on computers. The problem other countries will want room to stamp and even the US wants to see the stamps. Bummer. 

Off to Village Key so we can get dodger sides installed tomorrow.
